30 Point Checklist

Majestic Maids 30-Point Checklist covers all areas, our goal is to keep you and your family happy and healthy.  Below is a general checklist of duties we perform at every job. We will be happy to customize our services to fit your individual needs.  We offer clients flexibility to schedule a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning.

First Time Cleaning

Why does it cost more?

There’s a big difference between “old dirt” and “new dirt”. If we don’t get rid of the old dirt, no matter how hard we try, isn’t going to look sparkling and clean. It would be virtually impossible for us to “skip” our standard first time cleaning routine and try to carry on maintaining your home.  Our first clean is what we call a heavy, deep-cleaning. In fact, it’s not uncommon for us to spend two times longer on a first-time cleaning than it takes us on regular, repeat service.

 Kitchen

Appliance exteriors cleaned (interiors upon Special Request)
Microwave exterior/interior cleaned
Countertops, tables, and backsplash disinfected (all items removed and replaced)
Cabinet front’s cleaned
Sinks scrubbed and disinfected (dishes upon Special Request)
Top of refrigerator cleaned

  • All Floors, Tile, and Hardwood vacuumed and/or washed
  • All Windowsills and ledges cleaned
  • All Baseboards dusted
  • All Fingerprints removed from doorframes and switch plates
  • All Trash emptied
  • All Mirrors cleaned (Large wall to wall mirrors Special Request)

Bathrooms

  • Tub and shower tiles scrubbed, disinfected and rinsed
  • Toilets disinfected inside and out
  • Chrome fixtures cleaned and shined
  • Towels neatly hung and folded
  • Countertops disinfected (all items removed and replaced)
  • Cabinet front cleaned
  • Sinks scrubbed and disinfected

Bedrooms

  • Beds made (linens changed upon Special Request)
  • Lamps cleaned dusted
  • Picture frames and furniture dusted
  • 
Floors vacuumed and/or washed (under bed if accessible)
  • Windowsills cleaned (blinds dusted upon Special Request)
  • General straightening completed

Other Living Areas, Hallways and Stairs Windows

  • Ceiling fans dusted (height restrictions apply)
  • Furniture and picture frames dusted
  • Hallways and stairs vacuumed and/or washed
  • Carpets vacuumed
  • General straightening completed

Windows

Windows must be accessible from the inside and “tilt in” (Special Request).

  • Blinds dusted
  • Large Mirrors (Wall to Wall)
  • Windows
  • Wall washing
  • Inside cabinet cleaning
